36 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
2 sticks room temperature butter (cut into smaller pieces)
1 8oz jar of marshmallow creme
1 T Vanilla
4 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 can evaporated milk
2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)
Line a baking sheet with wax paper or foil and set aside. In a large mixing bowl put chocolate chips, butter, marshmallow creme, and vanilla. In a large sauce pan mix sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil and let boil for approximately five minutes. Stir constantly and turn down heat slightly. Pour the boiling mixture over the ingredients in the bowl and mix until all ingredients are melted and thoroughly mixed. Add nuts if desired. Pour into baking sheet to cool on counter or in refrigerator. Keep refrigerated.
To Make Truffle Balls: Scoop cooled fudge with small cookie scoop and coat in cocoa powder.
